Services

Here are some of the educational opportunities we offer students from grades 9 through 12:

  • AP-Advanced Placement classes: Enables students to take advanced course work in English, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, and Computer programming.
  • ECAP-Early College Admissions Program: Helps students pursue their post secondary plans in a time-saving and economical way. Students must meet specific criteria to be eligible.
  • EVTP-Early Vocational Technical Program: Helps students pursue post-secondary plans in a time-saving and economical way. Students must meet specific criteria to be eligible.
  • Evening high school: Provides high school classes in the evenings for both high school age students and non-traditional students who wish to obtain the credits to fulfill graduation requirements for the Maryland High School Diploma.
  • Hickory environmental education center: Supports the science curriculum by providing instruction in planetary, earth, and biological sciences.
  • Student Service Learning: Provides students with a resource index of volunteer opportunities throughout Garrett County. All students will need to fulfill the state-mandated service learning graduation requirement.
