JROTC Boosters

Welcome!
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new cadets and their families to the JROTC program. Early in 2011, we founded the Northern High School JROTC Boosters. Our organization helps support the JROTC program at Northern High School. Cadets receive many opportunities to experience hands-on skills at actual military facilities for Adventure Training, Staff Rides, Field Trips and competition travel. The budget given to the program does not cover costs for all transportation and meals. This lack of funding would result in fewer experiences.

The Northern JROTC Boosters provide support and encouragement to these “future leaders”. We participate in fundraising along with any additional needs of the program. We are now approved with the Internal Revenue Service and have the status of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

We would like to invite all families of old or new JROTC Cadets to join us on the third Thursday of each month for our monthly meeting. Meetings are held in SGM Hoffman’s room at Northern High School at 6:00 p.m. During the meetings we discuss upcoming important dates, fundraising, trips, funding requests, competitions and program updates by the Senior Army Instructor.

If you are unable to attend the meeting  but would still like to get involved, contact us at NorthernHighJROTC@gmail.com

Hope to see you there!
